Steelhead recommends using STAR BRITE bottle wash detergent as the cleaning agent for their washers and water bottling machines or water bottling equipment. It’s non-hazardous, economical and non-foaming, making it suitable for use in high-pressure washers and bottling equipment. It cleans polycarbonate, PET, copolyester, and PVC bottles without leaving residue and removes ink from standard ink jet date coding equipment. STAR BRITE has three times the lifespan of bottles cleaned with caustic solutions and excellent rinsing properties, leaving bottles and bottling equipment sparkling and reducing drag out. Recommended concentration for spray washers is 1-2% and for dip tanks, swabbing, or brushing it’s 2-4%. Cleaning with STAR BRITE should be followed by a potable water rinse and a sanitizing rinse.
