Steelhead Automatic De-Capper System

Steelhead’s 2200 De-Capper provides automatic bare bottle cap removal at speeds up to 2200 BPH

We feature the Steelhead high-speed auto de-capper for line speeds from 600 to 3,000 bph, in one (1), two (2), and three (3) head configurations. These systems can be placed directly over our conveyor or yours and easily adjusted to work on your 3 or 5-gallon bottles. Other features include PLC control, auto pass through for non-capped bottles, and auto-reject for missed bottles. The Steelhead semi auto de-capper (SA600) is the perfect solution for bottlers with lines up to 450 bottles per hour with manual bottle loading of the conveyor. The SA600 de-capper will easily and quickly remove the cap from any bottle by simply inserting the bottle and depressing the foot pedal.

Our De-Capper fits over most existing conveyor systems and features the following:

  • Stainless Steel Frame Construction
  • PLC Controlled with Operator Control Panel
  • Pre-Piped and Pre-Wired
  • Bottle-backup sensor to prevent back-up on discharge conveyor
  • Built-in sensor to allow bottles without caps to pass through
  • Audible alarm sounds if cap is not removed completely
  • Alarm signal can be used to activate bottle ejector (optional)
