Steelhead’s empty bottle leak tester for larger containers including 3 & 5-gallon (19 ltr) water containers, and can be seamlessly integrated with your water bottling machine. The single-head unit will test up to 600 5-gallon bottles per hour for pin-hole leaks and cracks down to .008″.  The bottling equipment systems can be set up in a production line or will run independently. Bottles are tested at low pressures ensuring the test pressure has little influence on the bottle. This is a self-contained package complete with an integrated conveyor for quick and simple installation. The unit can be set up with hot bottles resulting in fewer false rejects and monitors performance periodically during the unit operation. Failure to pass a self-test cycle will result in an alarm condition which must be reset by the operator.
